It seems like the months just fly by! Wasn’t it Christmas just a few days ago? It could be that I’ve missed a few days in between with the annual visit of winter sickness, bronchitis, flu, and other assorted annoyances this time of year. And then, if all that wasn’t enough, this past weekend we had a little kitchen accident . . . . someone was cutting an avocado and the knife slipped. A trip to the ER resulted in three stitches and, of course, no washing dishes for at least a week. It’s a good thing there are enough people in this family that the dishes will still be washed, the laundry will still be done, and the floors will still get swept. So it’s been rather crazy around here for the past several weeks, and now it’s almost spring! I guess I can be thankful for all those distractions.
Today I suddenly realized that March begins on Friday so it is about time to get a new calendar created for the blogs, websites, and art journals that I am working on. It’s challenging to remember that spring really is just around the corner with the weather we’ve been having here in the midwest. I think it is even worse north of us, especially over in Wisconsin and the Upper Peninsula of Michigan. Even just 100 miles north I’ve heard they are getting tons of snow, and the WIND has been really destructive. It was bad enough here, but with several inches of snow all swirling around in the 60 MPH winds has got to be really treacherous. I’m glad that spring will be arriving one day soon.
Here’s a cute printable calendar for you to use on your blog or website, or if you are like me and like to get creative with things, you can print it out and put it in a daytimer, planner, or art journal. Now that we’re past the worst of the winter blahs and I’ve rediscovered a bit of energy for each day, I’ve been puttering around out in the sewing room for a few hours and now I’m planning to work on the girls’ scrapbooks, too.
I finally got a bunch of pictures printed which I’ve been planning to do for quite some time . . . years ago, when the only way we could actually see our photos was to have them printed, I always had a stack of pictures just waiting to be organized into the scrapbooks. Now, I have to find them on the computer, upload them to the print website, and then go pick them up before I can work on the scrapbooks. Sometimes that just seems like too much work! But in the end, it is worth it. I love to see those beautiful scrapbook pages come together, and the kids always love looking at their scrapbooks, no matter how old they are.
I’m off to do about a gazillion other things today and I’ll be checking them off my list, one by one. I hope you are having a good week so far, and that you will find the time and energy to do something fun and creative. It always makes me feel better when I take time to create something. Try it, I’m sure you’ll like it, too! Hope to see you this week at the parties . . .
If you would like to use this calendar on your blog or website, just RIGHT CLICK on the image and SAVE AS PICTURE to your computer. Then you can upload it to any of your social media pages, or to your blog or website. You can also print it out to use any way you want. Have fun!
