Valentine’s Day Fun and Romance + HM #170
After years and years of receiving handmade Valentine’s Day cards in all shapes and sizes, created by little hands with crayon scrawls on construction paper (some even still have the white paper doily crumpled up inside), I guess I don’t think too much about Valentine’s Day cards any more. At least, not the kind that you buy in a store. I treasure all of those faded, tattered Valentine’s Day cards that I have stored away in carefully organized folders, just waiting for the day when I get back to my scrapbook projects. So I was wondering what I should “round up” for this week’s Valentine’s Day Fun theme for the Home Matters Linky Party #170. #VlentinesDayFun #HomeMattersParty
Since I already have 40 years worth of scrapbooks already, and a lot of vintage Valentine’s Day cards are already safely tucked behind the page protectors, and the rest are still waiting to be put in their proper places next to 3rd grade school pictures, 7th grade volleyball awards, and Middle School graduation certificates, I’m just not terribly sentimental about brand-new Valentine’s Day cards. But it was fun to find a few cute printables from other bloggers, and I even took some time away from all my other responsibilities today and created a couple of my own pretty printables. Because after all, when you’ve been married as long as I have, to the love of your life, you really don’t need words to express the depth of your devotion. But it is still fun!
Here are a few cute Valentine’s Day printables that I came across while searching for a bit of creative inspiration . . . I hope you like them too! Be sure to visit these other creative bloggers to see all their other Valentine’s Day ideas.
