My sweet hubby loves to grill! Which is perfectly fine with me, because I really prefer to do something besides cook, especially outside when it is blazing hot out there. So this week’s theme of barbecue grilling for the Home Matters Party #241 works out pretty good for our family. I found several ideas and recipes that would be perfect for a whole meal, all made on the grill, including meat and potatoes, veggies, and grilled peaches or apples for dessert. All we need to add is some ice cream and we are good to go! #barbecue #grilling #HomeMattersParty
Now that our deck is (almost) finished we’ve enjoyed being out there in the evenings, or even some days when it hasn’t been too hot and humid with a bit of a breeze blowing gently through the big maple trees. We’ve used our grill more this summer already because the deck is much more “user friendly” and cozy than it was last summer. We have the gazebo as well as a pretty turquoise umbrella over the table, so we have some shade at all times of the day. We even put up a string of pretty lights all around the gazebo, and with the fire pit going in the evening, it really is fun to be out there with our little family.
I hope that you are enjoying your summer days and nights, and that you will join us for this week’s Home Matters Party #241. You’ll find lots of great grilling ideas from our hostesses, and if you visit some of the other party goers, you’ll also meet some new bloggers and maybe even make a few new friends. Hope to see you there!
