One of the best things about linking up to some of the weekly blogging parties is all of the amazing, creative ideas you can find. But even better than that is all of the new blogging friends you can make . . . from all around the country and even from around the world. I’ve been part of the Thursday Favorite Things Blog Hop and Linky party for a really long time – actually I think since the very beginning when Katherine first got the party started – and I’ve “met” so many other bloggers during the years I’ve been linking up.
Blogging has changed a lot over the past 10 years or so, and now it seems that most of us are interested in connecting with other bloggers more so than in the beginning. Years ago, blogging was a new resource for finding information about whatever you might be interested in. Over the years, we’ve all kind of found our “community” where we can share information and resources, so there isn’t quite as much “searching” for new ideas.
There is so much great stuff out here, all we need to do now is type in a couple of words and about a gazillion links pop up for us to choose from. It hasn’t always been that way! But still, those of us who continue blogging do it because we love the connections – and when I’m looking for new recipes, craft ideas, home decor projects, DIY ideas, or gardening inspiration, I know I can find whatever I’m looking for in the blogging community. So, today I celebrate all my Blogging Buddies from all around the blogosphere for the encouragement, inspiration, and creative ideas I’ve discovered along my blogging journey.
Here’s a peek at a few of the blogs that linked up last week at the Favorite Things Party – leave me a comment and I’ll stop by to visit you and I just might include you in next week’s featured Favorite Things. Have a good week and enjoy meeting new blogging friends!

A note about the new link up format:
You may have noticed that several link party hosts are now using a new version of the link up that looks a little different than before. If this is your first time linking up to the new format, you may be prompted to register your email to create an account. This is the same as before when you entered your email each time you linked up with the old format. You do not have to have a personal inlinkz account or membership to link up, everything is the same as with the previous link up procedure. After your first time linking up you will not need to create an account each time and you will just be able to link up. If you have any questions or need help, feel free to ask!
